Who Can Apply - Anyone who is a US citizen and shows a need for the purpose of applying for a government grant. For example, small businesses can apply for a government grant if they are having problems getting started, have fallen behind, or something of that nature.

Application Submission - Once someone fills out an application for a government grant, it is then sent to a specialty committee, which ultimately decides whether or not the applicant will receive the grant. Next, it the grant proposal is sent through the government system and placed on the schedule. There is a schedule for when grant proposals are accepted, where they are eventually released and the applicant will then receive their funds.
